Matt Pennington
Matt Pennington joined D.J. Christie, Inc., as a sales associate in 2007, specializing in the leasing and sales of retail properties primarily in Kansas and Missouri. Matt is a licensed real estate agent in the state of Missouri and offers a broad spectrum of services such as leasing, sales, marketing, real estate financial modeling and consultations.
Matt attended The University of Nebraska Wesleyan where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. After receiving his Accounting degree he continued his education by enrolling in The University of Nebraska’s Graduate program. While attending the University of Nebraska Lincoln Matt was offered the opportunity to work in Nice, France as a Financial Analyst for Vishay a Fortune 1000 company. After working for nearly a year in Nice he returned to the United States and was offered a position with The National Golf Club Development Company in Kansas City, Missouri as a Real Estate Investment Analyst. Shortly after his start with the firm he assisted in the start up and development of a private real estate fund (Destination Club) called Luxury Real Estate Investment Partners. As the fund grew Matt assumed the role of Controller and continues in the day to day financial and operational management of the company.
Born in Columbus, Nebraska, Matt currently resides in Fairway, Kansas.
